BIG-IP is F5's family of application delivery products. Network teams place it in front of web apps and APIs to balance traffic across servers, speed up responses and keep services available. Modules add SSL offloading, DNS, a web application firewall and DDoS protection, and the product comes as hardware appliances, virtual machines and cloud images.
