About BBC Orbit
BBC Orbit is a music discovery site where tracks are picked by people instead of algorithms. It draws on BBC Introducing, the BBC programme that supports unsigned and undiscovered artists. Listeners hear fresh songs with no genres and no personalization, then add favorites to their own playlists. The idea is for listeners to tune into what sounds good right now. It is free to use, and it appeals to people tired of automated recommendations.
