Answers given in Discord servers tend to vanish from the open web. Answer Overflow fixes that by indexing channel content into search engines such as Google, so a question asked once can help the next person who searches for it. The project was built by a solo developer in response to the Reddit blackout debate about locked-away knowledge. It runs as a verified Discord bot in over 100 communities and states that it follows Discord's terms of service. The code is open source, and community admins can use custom domains and view analytics.
