Agno, formerly called Phidata, is an open source Python framework for developers building AI agents. Agents get built-in memory, knowledge bases, tools and reasoning, and the framework supports structured outputs and teams of cooperating agents. It is model-agnostic and designed to keep boilerplate low, so a production-ready agent takes little code. The project has more than 40,000 GitHub stars. A newer cloud offering lets teams build, deploy and improve customer-facing and internal agents in their own cloud. The framework is free.
