Datasette takes data in almost any shape, from CSV files to SQLite databases, and turns it into an interactive website with a JSON API on top. Journalists, researchers and developers use it to explore tables, filter and facet records and publish datasets for others, with plugins adding features. A desktop app wraps it for people who prefer not to use the command line. It is open-source software for data exploration and publishing.
